Measurably Daring™

Yolt, a Fintech owned by ING, has selected mobile-first agency Fetch, to together deliver a UK go-to-market strategy and branding for Yolt, the smart money app.

LONDON 1st JuneFetch has redesigned Yolt’s visual brand identity prior to applying its mobile-first strategy to the campaign. For the launch, Fetch will be targeting a UK audience of Millennials bringing the benefits of the app to life through mobile advertising, paid social, search and out of home activity.

Yolt is aimed at mobile-first consumers who want to manage their money in an easy and enjoyable way and feel less constrained by their finances.

When using the app, people can connect UK bank accounts and credit cards to have one overview of their money and enjoy smart money insights, which include where they have spent their money, as well as visibility into upcoming debits. They can also act upon these insights with, for example, budgets. The aim is to give people the power to be smart with their money.

Pauline van Brakel, Head of Strategy & Marketing at Yolt, comments: “Yolt is about empowering people to be smart with their money and live the lives they choose. We wanted to create a fresh, lively brand which would represent this mission. We chose Fetch because of their mobile-first approach, understanding of the market and our users brand taste. We have worked together intensively and are proud to see the new brand come to life”.

Jo Sutherland, Managing Director at Fetch, said: “Yolt is shaping the way banks target millennials. We’re proud to help bring this mobile-first banking brand to life, to be working with such a forward-thinking team on everything from visual identity and tone of voice and then taking it to market. This intuitive app will appeal to consumers who want a seamless way to manage their money”.

Yolt, a Fintech owned by ING, launched its open beta in the UK on 1st of June 2017.
