The candidate

The Account Director is responsible for balancing their role as the client’s advocate and strategic advisor with their responsibilities to Fetch in ensuring that they run a successful business. They should identify new business ideas for clients which will organically lead to new business opportunities for the overall agency. They will also lead their internal teams in managing their client’s short-term and long-term objectives/strategies. They should spend time with their clients building a strong relationship.

Key responsibilities

You will be leading a team and be the point-person on some of our key accounts which are one of the largest mobile accounts out there.

  • Establish a strong, collaborative partnership with client management at all levels
  • Analyze complex information and data in order to create and present strategic business  concepts
  • Provide client ongoing strategic direction and counsel
  • Have a realistic assessment of agency/client relationship and identify risks/opportunities
  • Manage accounts to be profitable without sacrificing  quality
  • Assess staff resource needs in short-term/long-term for current clients and new business
  • Possess strong strategic and creative judgment
  • Mentor account management team, assess strengths and best use of resources
  • Continuous oversight of financials on their account
  • Constant collaboration and knowledge sharing with all relevant business leads
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Bring a positive outlook and inspiring leadership to the agency team

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and skills

  • Solid knowledge of both digital and mobile marketing within an agency account management environment
  • Proven experience with media planning and buying  in digital and mobile environments
  • Use of media buying interfaces and ad-serving (preferable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Sound analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills. People must want to work with you, respect you and follow your lead.
  • Bachelor’s degree
